June 5, 2020 - June 7, 2020

The theme of Arise 2020, is “Fully Alive.” Come away for a weekend with the Bridegroom and enliven your spirit to full strength.

About this Event

“Then you, my people, will know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. I will put my Spirit in you and you will live.” Ezekiel 37:14

This very special weekend is designed to renew your heart and replenish your soul.

Featuring Father Joseph Tuscan OFM Cap.

Talks from Brooke Taylor, Linda Isaiah, Melody Lyons, Dr. Anne Valeri White and Jen Gerber. Music by Ellen Wallenfang, and so much more.

Holy Mass, Spiritual Direction, Adoration and grief recovery.

The most important aspect is to “Be still” (-Psalm 46:10).

We want you to enjoy the weekend in a way that meets your needs. There will be times of holy leisure, re-focusing and connecting others with the same heart as we draw deeper into our faith. Arise will be held on the beautiful grounds of the Jesuit Retreat Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

Women travel from all over the United States, forming a beautiful community of souls. Check out Brooke’s podcast to hear the Arise team talk about what you can expect during this incredible retreat.

“Holy Mass serves as a fundamental model of retreat, though on a smaller time scale. We leave the world to enter the church (which is the deserted place compared to the busy surroundings) for prayer, contemplation, hearing the Word, lifting up our hearts to the Lord, and receiving the spiritual nourishment of the Eucharist.

We are dismissed from the Mass to go out and serve, having replenished our spiritual reserves.

In addition to the Mass, there are brief respites from the burdens of daily life we may experience in praying the rosary, spending an hour of adoration before the Blessed Sacrament, praying the Liturgy of the Hours, reading Scripture, or enjoying God’s creation by walking a nature trail. When one thinks of going on a retreat, this is to be done for the purpose of pursuing the same basic respite but more sustained and profoundly invigorating.

In the fever and agitation of modern life, the need of meditation and spiritual repose impresses itself on Christian souls who desire to reflect on their eternal destiny, and direct their life in this world towards God. ” (source: Catholic Retreats).

Arise is an all-inclusive weekend designed with comfort and spiritual growth in mind. Like a jug under a waterfall, our prayer is that you will be filled with renewed vigor, faith, hope and joy, abundant and overflowing.

Space is limited to the first 70 ladies.
