I love being home for breakfast. It’s one of the biggest things I missed when I was doing the morning show. Now that I’m home, it has become one of my favorite times of the day. We have waffles, hash browns, bacon, sausage, fruit, and EGGS!! Always eggs. Jim is on a diet and he needs the protein. Thank goodness there are about 5 million ways to make an egg!!! I don’t know why I am writing about that tonight….slow day I guess. Lol. Everything is going good. We are getting ready for our Ohio trip in a few weeks and we are also planning for New York in August!!! I am frothing at the mouth when I think about the shopping opportunities. We need to map out a game plan because I have literally 5 million things I want to do and see when we are there!! We are making reservations for Tavern on the Green. We are going to Tiffany and Co. (Breakfast at Tiffany’s is my favorite movie ever so how could we not go?!). I also want to check out a place called Century 21 where I guess the deals are incredible. Not to mention Sephora, and a bunch of other places that are too expensive for us!! lol. The biggest priority for us though is seeing Ground Zero. That is something that will be very emotional I’m sure. Anyway, Grant is calling me so I better run. Stay tuned for pictures, when we get our film posted, I will put some new photos up for sure!!

Hey Brooke-
Glad that you and the boys are doing well.
By any chance, are you going to check out Keith Urban at the Resch in September?
Keep enjoying your time off!

Hi Brooke!
I love your web page. I check it every morning just to see what is going on. I am kind of a stay-at-home mom. I work 40 hours but I work from home so I work around my son’s (17 months) schedule. I love reading what you guys do during the day as I always get some new ideas from you. Thanks a lot! You are a great mommy!

Hi Brooke!!
Just an fyi – when you go to Ground Zero in August, stop in at the church that is across the street. There is a Burger King across the street from the church. They have alot of memorable displays up in the church. I guess that is where many of the firefighters went for rest. We did not see it, we heard from someone on our flight back about it.

Thanks for your comments!!
Betterhalf-hmmmm I like your screen name, by any chance are you a Keith Urban fan too?! Lol. I don’t know if we are going to the show yet but I would LOVE to see him again!
Krista-Thank you, your comment was so sweet! Sounds like you have a perfect work schedule, you are very lucky. Enjoy the summer with your little boy!
Heather-Thanks for the tip about Ground Zero. I will definately check that out. We have a Frommer’s “Guide to NYC” book and I think I read something about that. I’m sure we’ll need to bring our tissues too.
