I think at some point I want to compile a list of “What NOT to say to a Pregnant Woman”.:) One of them being “Oh, are you sure you’re not having twins?!”? It’s an innocent comment but not to someone who is hormonal and already sensitive that they are huge! I have many more to add but I’m just mentally logging them in my brain until the right time.:) Thursday I had a doctor’s appointment and it went well, everything looks good! The baby is about 1 pound now which is a pretty big milestone since I’ve reached the “viability” point. My belly has really popped too! I was going to post an updated photo but so far I’m just not happy with any of them yet. I keep blaming the “lighting” but somehow I don’t think that’s it. haha.

Hi Brooke,
I just wanted to comment on your recent post of things not to say to a pregnant woman. I’ve heard my share of comments and the most recent one I heard (from a friend) was “You’re huge for 6 months!” This friend has never been pregnant. I’m not any larger this time than I was with Casey and he was 10lbs 10ozs at birth!! They may be innocent comments, but some things are just better left unsaid!! I say enjoy your pregnancy and love your expanding belly, I’m enjoying mine.

Hello –
I agree about how insensitive others can be to a hormonal pregnant lady! I am eight months along and get the “Gosh – you really got huge over the weekend!” every Monday. How do you answer that? Yep, I’m half elephant!

I am right behind you and the other “commenters” I am a week of away from being 9 months I just keep hearing I don’t think you will make your due date, she is so low, you are so big. My favorite being “hi slim” I get that every morning! I am savoring the time though as this will be my last pregnancy.
