I *think* it’s Saturday night, sometime around 10pm.:) I know I haven’t updated in a few days but, things have been hectic (to say the least). I went from the giddy/happy filled-with-newborn-adrenaline phase, to the lack- of- sleep, exhausted, overwhelmed stage. I’m sure it will balance out to a happy medium in between those two extremes, I’m just waiting for things to settle down a bit. Everything is going great, I’m just trying to catch my breath and figure out WHEN I’ll have time to brush my teeth, or change out of my sweat pants? Lol. It’s so funny because I had all these projects planned for when I was on maternity leave. I thought I would have the house spotless, catch up on photo albums, and cook 4-course gourmet meals for my family. Hahaha! The house has never been messier, and I hardly have time to mic a hotdog for the boys and get a shower, let alone cook and work on projects.:)
I keep hoping I’ll have time to transfer all my preggo and non-preggo clothes from the basement but so far no dice. I’m trying to find a few things to wear because my maternity clothes are too big, but my pre-pregnancy clothes are still too small. Thank goodness for elastic yoga pants in the meantime!:) As far as the baby goes…he is doing wonderfully well! He is 10 days old and I can tell he has grown already, it’s amazing how fast time flies. His chubby little cheeks are just the cutest thing ever, and they match his chubby little legs, I love it! Even though I’ve had the blessing of experiencing life with a newborn twice before, each time is so unique and amazing. I love the faces he makes when he’s sleeping or stretching, I love when he’s awake and trying to study his surroundings, and I love just holding his tiny body in my arms. Gabriel and Grant seem to love their little brother to pieces too.:) Grant is having a harder time adjusting though and I want to make sure he knows how loved he is, even though there is another addition in the house. Well I had planned to post more pics but that will have to wait for my next entry. I have a window where I can get some sleep and I’m taking it while I can!:) Have a great weekend.

Hi Brooke,
It was really nice meeting you on Sunday. Your boys and husband are great! Camden and Gabriel should have some fun this summer and Grant is a cutey. (Love it when he yells out the window at me when I’m working in the garage.) I read some of your Blogs, it’s great you do what you do. Keep up the good work. Again, congrats on the new addition.

Brooke,
Wow what a cutie! Looks like you & me were selected to just have boys! My boys are now 31-James, & 29-Christopher! I still remember smelling their new baby-fresh heads after a bath!
Enjoy them & the precious time you have alone with your new Gift from GOD! They grow up so fast, and when they do then you can smell the fresh scent of your Grandbabies as I do!
