Here’s something you don’t see every day! We had a hot air balloon land in our neighborhood!:) The Pro Football Hall of Fame festival is this weekend here in the Canton area. Every year they do a hot air balloon invitational and we are fortunate enough to have a great view from our yard. They just float above in the sky and it’s so pretty to watch. Well, yesterday my niece Sydney was spending the night, all the kids in the neighborhood were playing outside and enjoying the balloons. One in particular seemed extra close to us (just above our rooftops)! In fact, we even shouted up to the pilots and they could hear us. Well, everything happened very fast, they came down pretty quick and actually landed at the end of our street! Thankfully there was just enough room (a few unsold lots provided the space). The kids thought it was the coolest thing of all time! We see the gorgeous balloons from afar, but who ever thinks one will practically land in your backyard!?:) I think they couldn’t get enough elevation so they ended up coming down (I’m not sure) but thankfully everyone was fine. I ran in an got my camera, check out a few of the photos we snapped:
We thought they might try and go up again. They ended up just wrapping it up for the night.
We were surprised to see who drove the balloon chase vehicle! LOL!
