Good Friday is here. I ran across a fitting reflection here. It’s called :” On The Fewness Of Those Who Love The Cross Of Jesus”. It’s a good one.
Also, one of my favorite songs we sing at church during Holy Week is an old spiritual called “Were You There”. There is a powerful video on You Tube with that song. Click here to see.
After the solemnity of Good Friday, I hope you have a wonderful, blessed, happy Easter! We are going out for brunch this year and as much as I love hosting at our home, I am excited to go out. No kitchen clean up, it will be a dish-free day…yippee!:) The boys are anxiously awaiting their chocolate-filled baskets (and so is mommy)!:) We collectively gave up chocolate and all sweets for Holy Week and for us that’s a long time, I’m embarrassed to admit. I thought I had a good hiding place for the Easter baskets but Garrett found them today and was very excited! I told him that we leave the baskets out and the Easter Bunny fills them for us (um yep, that’s totally what I had planned on saying). Lol. He carried them around for the rest of the day and used the smallest basket/bucket as a hat. Here is my happy little guy:
Basket buddies.:) Have a wonderful weekend. Happy Easter. God bless you!
