Almost four years ago I started my journey on 95.5 The Fish. I remember flying into Cleveland for my interview and meeting the Program Director, Len, and Mark for dinner and an interview. Right away I knew it would be a great team to be a part of! From the first day I started, it has truly been like family and the happiest I have ever been in my career. Len and Mark are like my brothers. When you are contained in a small room with each other for 4 hours every day and have to deliver a radio show, it’s definitely helpful to get along! So, when I got the news that our show was splitting up it was a sad day. Mark has been moved to afternoon drive and Len and I will now be a duo. We lost staff, have to juggle and improvise during these tough times. I am not complaining because I am very grateful to have a job, it’s just a time of transition and letting go. You get so used to something and then one day…..things are different! I like to look at it as a challenge and an opportunity to re-invent BUT I’m still sad that I will miss hanging out with one of my best friends every day. This was a picture we took after our first show back in 2005. I think we look about the same except maybe a little pudgier (I won’t say which one of us)! Ha ha. We took a picture of our last day together (Friday) but I haven’t had a chance to post it yet. I hope you will listen to the *NEW* Family Friendly Morning Show with Len and Brooke. Mark in the afternoon isn’t too shabby either! You can listen live online at www.95.5TheFish.com. Time to start a new chapter.

I always find change to be difficult. This is off subject, but I was playing Hide-n-Seek with my 2 “middle” boys just today, while my older 2 children were at school and my youngest was napping. I was taken back in time when I used to play this same game when my oldest 2 were at home. I miss those simple days…before pre-school and baseball and dance, etc. I cherish each stage, but sometimes “remembering when” brings a tear to my eye! I love your show and Mark will be missed. I will keep you in my prayers!
