Happy Monday! It’s Holy Week and my favorite time of the whole year. One of our traditional features on 95.5 The Fish is posting the recipe for “Resurrection Cookies”. This is a great way to illustrate the meaning of Easter to kids. Here is a picture of what they are supposed to look like. Tip: make sure you mix for the full length of time instructed. Also, my friend Jen said to warm the egg whites and that helps too!:) We made these a few years ago and they didn’t turn out. I think I may have the courage to try again this year!:)

Also, last night I was watching the ACM awards and was so moved when Marine Lt. Andrew Kinard took the stage. Wow! Very powerful. 
I wanted to learn more about his story and I ran across a great website. Not only does it have a story about him, but the blog itself is fantastic. It’s written by a Gold Star mom. Here is the link.
Oh, and I almost forgot the Friday dinner recap!:) Jim and Gabriel both said it was amazing. A great night that I hope Gabriel will remember for a long time. Hopefully I’ll have a chance to post the pictures soon. Have a great day!:)
