What a day! Early this morning I was in a car accident and it was terrifying. I hit a patch of rain/ ice in my husband’s car, slid on the freeway (did a 360), and made impact on the guard rail of an overpass. My bumper went over the overpass, I’m just grateful the rest of the car didn’t go with it! I am fine (thank God) but Jim’s poor car is in bad shape. The entire back end is crushed and the tail light was hanging by a wire. I looked like Jed Clampett trying to piddle on home!:) Not that I’m complaining, I am just grateful to be alive. That has got to be one of the scariest things ever. I just kept thinking about my boys, my husband, and not wanting to leave them! The weird thing is, I had an incident where I spun on the highway last year too. I know it sounds like I am the worst driver ever but I have never had problems like that before…and 2 incidents in one year?! Both in Jim’s car too. So, I Googled hydroplane issues with his make/model and found some consumer reviews, one of them said this: “17 inch Bridgestone tires will hydroplane in a heartbeat in heavy rain. Scary!” Just an fyi, go carefully and take er’ slow if you have those tires. Thank you Lord for protection!
Oh! This is a neat little makeover tool! If you go to InStyle.com you can upload your photo and try on different make-up, hairstyles, etc. I have found some of those to be a little goofy (hard to get a genuine feel for the look) but it’s still fun.:) Here is the link.
Drive safe!:)

Hi Brooke! I am very glad you come out of everything OK. I know you are a big Dolly Parton fan, so I wanted to give you a heads up that Cracker Barrel has a new Dolly CD. She does covers of some songs that are unusual for her. They also have a book of photos and info on Dolly. I am sure that you will want to head to Cracker Barrel and check it out! Have a blessed day, and a truly Holy Week. And a wonderful Easter. We are an Easter people and Alleluia is our song!
