I am excited to say, today was my very first trip to Trader Joe’s! It’s a grocery store with an emphasis on high quality (foods with no artificial flavoring, organic, etc). What I wasn’t expecting what how affordable everything was! You could’ve knocked me over with a feather when I saw the prices and I was like a kid in a candy store. Here are just a few of the goodies I bought:
The manager at Trader Joe’s said if you buy anything in the store that you don’t like, you can bring it back to the store for a full refund. Also, they allow you to try anything in the store (except the frozen items). Just grab someone who works there and they will open up whatever it is for you to try before you buy it. WOW, wow, wow! This new found healthy eating shift is so wonderful, I am finding new things every day. Also, I have lost 5 pounds as a result! Grateful and happy to have good resources to help me (and Jim) stay on the straight and narrow. Lol. Eating healthy has never been so much fun!:)
Gotta run, mom is on her way home from the hospital. Thank you for your prayers!

Hi Brooke,
Do you have a Costco near you? If so, you should join! Costco has affortable organic items on stables. Milk, yogurt, peanut butter, strawberry jelly (yum), and snacks (Annies, dried fruits, etc) and some prepared/frozen foods. I do not buy too much fruit and veggies at Coscto, so I'm not sure what organic items they have in that section. Just an FYI!
Keep up the good work on the Fish!

Thanks so much for your comment! Clark Howard (money-saving expert) always raves about Costco too. I wish we had one closer, but the nearest location is about 50 minutes away. I am thankful for Hartville Marketplace though, they are close, local, fresh, and affordable also. We are blessed to have so many great places to shop, that's for sure!:)
