Back from another busy weekend! Saturday was the highly-anticipated “PointFest” at Cedar Point. We went last year and had a great time, so we knew (as long as the weather held out) it would be another great adventure. It started Friday with our stay at Kalahari. This was also part of Gabe’s birthday present, and a treat for the whole family.
Speaking of treats….
The kids were excited about the water slides. Jim and I were excited about the desserts! We need help. Lol. This is just a tiny glimpse of the amazing offerings at Kalahari.
Quick family photo, then it’s off to Cedar Point!
The boys met some friends from school, what a gang of cute guys!:) The older boys rode the big-time coasters.
Another highlight: escorting the band Remedy Drive and Mark and his son EJ to the front of the line to ride “The Maverick”. Mark was the grand prize winner of a contest we had on 95.5 The Fish. Gabe rode too (I feel bad he’s hanging off to the side of the pic)! It was a blast…and slightly nauseating. 🙂 Lol.

Just kidding, I felt the photo needed a cool caption. Actually, I was only there for a quick plug of The Fish before Casting Crowns .:) The music was the icing on the cake. Casting Crowns sang several of their big hits: The Voice of Truth”, “Until the Whole World Hears” , “Slow Fade”, and “East to West”.
Thank you Cedar Point for a day of memories that will last a lifetime! Can’t wait until next year.
