“A faithful friend is a sturdy shelter; he who finds one finds a treasure. A faithful friend is beyond price, no sum can balance his worth. A faithful friend is a life-saving remedy, such as he who fears God finds.”
Sirach 6: 16-17
It’s been a while since I had a ladies night out, so I was looking forward to this weekend. Every time I gather with my good girlfriends, I realize how much I miss them and wish we got together more often! They are like a hug for the soul. 🙂 It’s easy to connect via e-mail, texting, or Facebook, but nothing replaces face-to-face conversation in a non-rushed atmosphere. That was the case on Saturday. We signed up for a Girls Night Out at Glazed and Amused. The fee included yummy food from BAM Healthy Cuisine, and our we were able to bring wine and they even melted our wine bottles into cheese trays. We all ended up painting “friendship mugs” and signed our names on each other’s mugs. It made me realize how important it is to take time for the people in your life you care about. Even though we are all busy, we found a way to get together and it was so wonderfully uplifting!
P.S. I hope you’ll keep in mind our Mom Squad Luncheon on April 28th at Hartville Kitchen! I can’t wait to announce our speaker/music artist. It’s a great girls event for sure!
