Happy November! I had to double check the calendar this morning, is it really November already? I guess it’s that newborn-baby time clock, my days and nights are running together. I wanted to post my birth story and Halloween pics, but the days have gotten away from me. I still don’t have my birth story written yet, but I do have some costumed-kiddos to post!
Grant was St. Francis of Assisi and Karolina was Blessed Mother Teresa. Her costume was easy (thankfully)! Just white fabric and painters tape. Great tip from Lacey at CatholicIcing.com. She was a hit!:)
Garrett was Anakin Skywalker and Gabriel was a mobster.
Ready to roll!
Today Gus is 5 days old. I get weepy just thinking about it. These days always seem to go by the fastest. He will never again be this tiny.
Things are busy, but very, very good. Jim and I had a good laugh the other day when we were side-by-side changing Karolina and Gus, both with dirty diapers at the same time. I imagine this will be our lives for a while. I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🙂
Dear Brooke, I LOVE the pic of Karolina, Gus, and one of your older boys with your mom and dad! How can two people not genetically related have the same facial expressions and features (meaning your dad and Karolina) – how beautiful! And in your formal family pic, Karolina looks more like Jim than anyone else in your family (your boys certainly do resemble you)! It's just one of God's many signs that she belongs with all of you. Blessings and congratulations to your entire family, but especially for 2 wonderful new lives in one year!
