Happy Mother’s Day! First off, congratulations to the winner of the “Scrapbook of Motherhood Firsts” and point of Grace album. The winner is: ~Patty ~! Thank you all so much for entering, and congratulations Patty! These little contests are fun and I hope to do many more, so please check back often for your chance to win.
Now, on to honoring mom:
When I was a little girl, my mom taught me a special prayer about her favorite heavenly mom…Mary. To honor “Momma Mary” we placed these flowers (I received from speaking at a MUM’s group) to pretty her up even more.
Happy Mother’s Day to my amazing mom, and I thank her for passing on the most a precious holy heirloom of all: prayer.
Here is a printable “Prayer for Mothers”. This can be said around the dinner table before a meal, at a family gathering, or simply alone between you and God.
Here is the prayer my mom taught me about Mary. It’s called “Lovely Lady Dressed in Blue.”
Happy Mother’s Day! I pray the Lord pour down His grace on this day dedicated to you, mom.
