We cannot do everything, and there is a sense of liberation in realizing that. This enables us to do something, and to do it very well. It may be incomplete, but it is a beginning, a step along the way, an opportunity for the Lord’s grace to enter and do the rest.
– Oscar Romero
What a great truth. I think the same sentiment was also shared by Dory in Finding Nemo: “Just keep swimming, just keep swimming.” Amen to that! We can only do so much on a given day.
I’ve also been pondering this prayer lately:
It’s one thing to read it, it’s quite another to LIVE it! I’ll be the first to admit, I’m el-stinkaroo at truly interiorizing and obeying those words…but I am trying. I’m hoping that with school being out and a more casual pace, it will be some holy help in walking through each day. I love the part of the prayer that talks about taking “minute vacations”- and I may have mastered that mentally (ha ha) but not yet spiritually.
We recently added a new song to our playlist at 95.5 The Fish called “Worn.” It’s by Tenth Avenue North and I wanted to share it with you. For the tired, tattered, weary and…worn. God bless you.

'Worn' is my new absolute favorite song! This is the first time I've seen the video and I love it! When life wears us down, we can rest in Him.
