Happy Independence Day to you! It’s always so heartening to see Old Glory flying in neighborhoods, and contemplating the blessing of freedom. A great little patriotic videos is Red Skelton’s Pledge of Allegiance. If you haven’t see it yet, it’s a good one.
We are having a low-key day, but I do have plans to break out my patriotic apron that Jim and Gabe brought home from Gettysburg:
I suspect that’s the only blue ribbon I’ll ever get for my cooking. Lol.
Just a quick catch-up: Karolina turned THREE last Sunday! I think she was excited about her cake:
She takes after her mother, of that I am sure. Ha! 🙂 Happy Birthday to our darling daughter, we love you!
Meanwhile, a shirtless Gus says hello:
Len says his hair looks like Mo from the Three Stooges. WHAT?! Okay, maybe a little. I can’t bring myself to cut it though, I love his baby locks.
In my last post I shared the info with you about the upcoming Lerner School for Autism 5K and Family Fun Run. It’s coming up f-a-s-t (July 13)! We would love for you to participate if you are in the area, but if not, I wanted to link you up to my donation page if you are able and feel called, to donate. Click here to give to Autism research, and education (you can’t see it now, but I’m doing my best Puss n’ Boots big-eyed, begging expression). Ha. I’ll keep you posted! )
Finally, check out this brand new “I am Second” video from Edward Pujols.
“I knew there was a God. But I didn’t understand and have faith.” -E. Pujols.
Powerful and beautiful…a grand slam! 🙂 I can’t embed it for some reason, but just click here to check it out.
Have a GREAT day and God bless you!
