A big warm Ohio welcome to you! My name is Brooke, thank you for visiting my little corner of the web. I’m a radio personality turned recent stay-home mom. I’m also a speaker, host, blogger and (sometimes) vlogger. My Army-veteran husband Jim and I have five children, including a beautiful special needs daughter we adopted from Poland. We are Roman Catholics and LOVE the outdoors. The Sacred Sink was born out of a desire to “dance through the day” with the Lord in every thing, big and small.

Love the video! With a couple of kiddos myself, I understand how difficult it can be, to just sit down and find any time to write a blog. Currently, my little ones are with Grandma, which is giving me some "Me" time.
Thank you Grandma!!!! lol 🙂
I also wanted to congratulate you on returning back to Homeschooling. We also had faced a time, where I wondered if we could continue to school the children, at home. My husband became unemployed.
(My husband ability to take over for me in that area, wasn't as easy for him, as it was for your husband.)
I was going to be the one working now and he was going to be taking over the schooling, eeekkk!!!
I have always said to people, that homeschooling isn't about perfection, its about flexibility. Now that I was faced with giving up the reins, I was having to taste my own words, and truth be told they were a bit sour. Still, it was true and I knew that if I wanted this to new arrangement to work, things would have to change and they did.
( We switched to year-round schooling and now use Time4Learning's Online program verses text books. Doing this made it easier for my husband to manage )
Anyways, Good luck on your upcoming School year! And remember that the those who bend never break 😉
