A happy NE Ohio Autumn to you! The days have been so beautiful lately, it just makes the heart sing! It seems like summer slipped away so quickly, so with the mild weather we’ve been trying to savor the fall season before it gets too cold. The boys had two days off of school this week and I knew if they were cooped up in the house any longer they might bring the walls down! So, we decided to hit the trails and get the wiggles out.:) Look at this view!
We were planning to visit Peninsula, OH and walk the Towpath, but due to the govt. shutdown, everything is closed (boo). Well, thank goodness for Amish Country. This is at the Wilderness Center in Wilmot. Just a short drive, and so peaceful.

This week my internal pumpkin clock went off too. Time to make the first batch of pumpkin loaf bread of the season! Pinterest has so many wonderful recipes, but in the end, simple won out. This recipe did the tasty trick and also makes a double batch. Great to freeze or take to a friend or neighbor.
